Last Place on Earth

Released 24 January 2010

Official artwork for Last Place On Earth

Last Place on Earth is the first full album released by High Five Spaceship, a full 13 years ago in January 2010. Intended to be gapless, each track would flow into the next seamlessly; a download of the album also included a bonus track. It was released under a Creative Commons license, meaning anyone could use it as long as it wasn't for profit. Much like the rest of the early HFS releases, it was removed from Bandcamp; by mid 2011 it was no longer visible on the page. Thusly, it has been unarchived and considered lost. Even the album artwork is unavailable via archive.org.

Artwork associated with the track Like You Never Seen, found via the Wayback Machine.

UPDATE, 3 March 2023: three of the eleven tracks on the album have been found on an abandoned SoundCloud account, initially uploaded sometime in 2011 or 2012. These tracks are marked with [*]

UPDATE, 4 March 2023: An additional five of the eleven tracks were found on Mediafire, presumably uploaded by either Chris or a fan sometime in 2011. These tracks are marked with [^]. I was also able to extract the album artwork from the files, as they are originals (or, bare minimum, complete copies). Currently, the tracks Before, 7 Colours, and Stop are still missing.

UPDATE, 30 September 2023: After another skim through the Wayback Machine, artwork for the track Like You Never Seen was located, albeit in very low resolution. It's also been found to have been released on 25 December 2009 alongside Last Place on Earth.
