The Sea Hates a Coward.

A bit about your webmaster...

Who am I?

A fan of High Five Spaceship, of course.

And you can call me Andru. Whether or not I need your love is up to you to decide.

I've been a fan of HFS since late 2017 or early 2018, I can't quite remember, but I know it was just after the release of MMCCXV (hey look, the webpage namesake!) and I was instantly hooked on the raw nature of it. It was a little rough around the edges, unlike the oft-hyper-polished pop and classic rock I was immersed in. I loved the sources of inspiration - many of those sources were favorites of my own already - and hoped to hear more. And so I have. I physically own Progress and MMCCXV on vinyl (146/300 and 136/300, respectively) and would love to eventually physically own IAGUCWM if it were to get an extensive release.

In terms of musical education, I have none. Can't carry a tune. Can't play a single instrument. Can't write music, can barely read it. The most I know about a song or an album is whether or not I like it.

The word amateur comes from amare - to love. While inept, I do things for the love of it. In this case, it means curating a fansite of a relatively obscure musician that I like.

Welcome, cosmonauts, to the spaceship.
