Entropy is Important

Released 8 April 2017

Official artwork for Entropy is Important

Intended as an instrumental epilogue to MMCCXV, Entropy is Important takes a darker turn compared to its predecessor. The EP takes its name from the lyrics of Team Dream, and the track Edith Keeler from the name of a character out of an episode of Star Trek: The Original Series that grapples - innately - with the idea of a solidified and defined future. The EP was entirely composed, recorded, mixed, and mastered by Christopher Bingham; a brief departure to the heavily collaborative nature that High Five Spaceship had been taking since 2014.

As a part of the Kickstarter for I Am Going Up Come With Me, a very limited, personally burned and decorated CD copy of Entropy is Important was made available: less than 20 were offered. This would generally be considered an official-unofficial release. A few of the CDs can be seen on the offical High Five Spaceship Instagram page.
