Released as a companion to I Am Going Up Come With Me, The Comedown acts as a 'retrospective remix album', reexamining and recontextualizing several tracks from the album (as well as several from Progress and MMCCXV) that had released a little less than three months prior. Overall, the EP is more low-key and autumnal than its summery older sibling, but no less artistic or cohesive.
